Welcome!

Tailoredpath proposes a new way to visualize data, in a map-like way.
This project uses occupational data to illustrate this technique.

HOW TO USE
  1. Spot your current job to position yourself on the map.
  2. From there, explore occupations that are close to it: they share significant similarities with your current position in terms of skills and knowledge.
  3. Click on the markers and discover detailed data about these occupations.

Welcome!

Tailoredpath proposes a new perspective to data visualization.
This map constitutes a first attempt to visualize publicly available data in an interactive way.
New ! You can now compare jobs with the transition tool.

HOW IT WORKS
On this map, each marker represents an occupation. Distance represents the difference between the skills & knowledge that these occupations require.
You can position yourself on the map by spoting your current job. Occupations that are close to it share significant similarities with it. Those that are further away may require a steeper learning curve, because you will need to gain different skills & knowledge to be qualified.
